EVALUATE THE LIVESTOCK ROLE FOR POVERTY REDUCTION IN SELECTED DISTRICTS OF BALOCHISTAN PROVINCE

In order to measure the perceived perception of livestock farmers regarding role for poverty alleviation current study was carried out in Quetta, Pishin and Naseerabad districts Balochistan. These were selected randomly. Qualitative methods cross-sectional research design used this research. One hundred (100) or respondents selected. Random sampling method used. SPSS software applied data fragmentation. Pearson Chi-Square test based on p ≤0.05 level. Results show that Less than half (56%) fell into age group (31 40 years). Most (42%) illiterate. Vast majority (92%) preferred joint family system. More (52%) agreed low income major cause poverty. Thus, it concluded significant differences observed three districts' farmer perceptions by using test. Therefore, recommended government should develop vivid mechanism sector increase per animal productivity sustainable rural development reduction.
